I lived there for a few years, and in NY for nearly 10 years.
My best friend in college was Jewish. His father and grand father were hotshots on Wall Street.
I met them and attended their meetings with other big heads there, corporate lawyers and powerhouses.
They talked, joked, demeaned, the President and members of Congress like you never heard of!
They had the entire US government, and I mean the folks in Washington DC, in their pocket. Washington could not function for a day without these guys.
Who would pay for Congressman X's tryst with a high-maintenance blond girl from the South of France? Who would pay Senator Y's former wife to keep her quiet about his sodomizing an assistant - a male one - that she caught him red-handedly, literally?
That's the Jewish folks, stupid.
