Beyond moral conscience: Existential guilt

WH could do whatever they want. Now that they've seen the Petition, they may become aware of the issue, and decide to do something. They don't need 100k signers. The number is meant only for the overt response.
I have a way to send arguments to various agencies, showing Benefits for the US if it goes forward with the restrictions.
I know how this gov works. I go to K Street in DC every Thurs afternoon.
However, God condemns, Obama won't do anything, I know from senior sources.
Those who oppose would oppose under ANY conditions, situations, circumstances. No use to argue with them. They have neither the moral conscience, nor the existential guilt. Most of these people are benefiting from the current conditions in VN.

I don't know how those who nitpick on the Petition could sleep at night, and especially how those who bring hard currency by the billions to VC could live in peace.
