Vietnam 2010 foreign reserves drop 12 pct y/y-ADB
(Reuters) - Vietnam's foreign exchange reserves last year dropped 12 percent from 2009 to [B]$12.4 billion[/B], the Asian Development Bank (ADB) said on Wednesday.
The country's reserves were enough to cover 1.9 months of imports at the end of 2010, ADB said in its Asian Development Outlook 2011 report.
At the end of 2009, Vietnam held $14.1 billion in its foreign exchange reserves, the bank's data show. (Reporting by Ho Binh Minh; Editing by Ramya Venugopal)
