Trong câu nầy, nếu Thi Sách là họ và tên th́ vế thứ nh́ của câu nầy thiếu động từ, trở nên tối nghĩa. Như Huệ Đống đă viết, đọc tiếp đoạn Thuỷ kinh chú về Hai Bà Trưng, sự cân đối trong cách dùng từ sẽ cho thấy rơ tên của chồng bà Trưng. "... Trắc vi nhân hữu đảm dũng, tương Thi khởi tặc; Mă Viện tương binh thảo, Trắc Thi tẩu nhập Cẩm Khê...” ([B][SIZE=4][I][COLOR="#ff0000"]...[Bà] Trắc là người can đảm, cùng [ông] Thi nổi dậy làm giặc; Mă Viện đem quân sang đánh, [ông bà] Trắc Thi chạy vào Cẩm Khê...[/COLOR][/I][/SIZE][/B]) Tác giả Lịch Đạo Nguyên dùng tên Trắc, vậy th́ chữ Thi theo sau đó cũng phải là tên chứ không thể là họ. Lịch Đạo Nguyên đă đến Mê Linh vào thế kỷ thứ 6 và phát hiện tên chồng bà Trưng tên là Thi, vậy tốt nhất nên trở về đúng tên ban đầu của chồng bà Trưng, tức là ông Thi.[/QUOTE]
Trong Thủy Kinh Chú, Lịch Đạo Nguyên đă đưa ra một chi tiết mâu thuẫn với những ǵ chúng ta đă được biết trong một thời gian dài. Đoạn trên cho thấy rằng khi Mă Viện đem quân sang đánh, bà Trưng Trắc và ông Thi chạy vào Cẩm Khê. Vậy là lúc ấy ông Thi chưa chết như lịch sử trước đây đă ghi là ông bị Tô Định giết chết, dẫn đến sự việc Hai Bà nổi lên khởi nghĩa. Chỉ khi Hai Bà đoạt được lại giang sơn rồi Mă Viện mới được Hán Đế cử sang đánh khoảng 3 năm sau.
Và nếu ông Thi vẫn c̣n sống khi Mă Viện sang, th́ ông đă mất lúc nào? V́ khi đến Hát Giang chỉ có 2 vị Nữ Vương trầm ḿnh.
Vậy hoặc là Lịch Đạo Nguyên đă lấy sai dữ kiện trong lúc t́m hiểu, hoặc là sử VN ghi sai trong một thời gian dài. Ngoài ra, có sách sử Trung Hoa ghi là Hai Bà đă bị Mă Viện bắt và chém đầu. Đâu là thật, đâu là giả?
