[i]Bài viết này xin dành tặng riêng cho bạn bè tôi, những anh-chị đă từng sống tại các trại tị nạn.[/i][/right]
Giai đoạn 1987 – 1998, sau thỏa thuận thực hiện chương tŕnh ORP nhằm giải quyết nguyện vọng của những người tị nạn c̣n sót lại ở trại PFAC giữa [url="http://www.molisa.gov.vn/news/detail2/tabid/371/newsid/54787/seo/Cao-uy-Lien-hop-quoc-ve-Nguoi-ti-nan-UNHCR-/language/vi-VN/Default.aspx"]Cao uỷ Liên hợp quốc về Người tị nạn (UNHCR)[/url] và các chính quyền tại khu vực Đông Nam Á , tất cả những người tị nạn chính trị (đặc biệt là người Việt Nam sau biến cố 1975 – boat people) ở các quốc gia tại Châu Á đều được tập trung về Philippines.
Palawan là nơi tập trung nhiều người Việt tị nạn nhất, được xem như thủ đô tị nạn của người Việt tại Phi. Palawan là một tỉnh có thành phố trung tâm là Puerto Princesa, cách thủ đô Metro Manila một giờ bay. Hiện nay trại tị nạn Palawan được xem như một địa điểm du lịch, có cả một nhà nguyện và một ngôi chùa nhỏ vẫn được người Phi lưu giữ đến giờ.
Bên cạnh Palawan là trại tập trung Morong Bataan – nơi dành riêng cho những người Việt tị nạn đă nhận được quy chế đi định cư tại nước thứ 3. Khu vực này không những dành riêng cho người Việt mà c̣n có cả người Campuchia, Lào.
Hiện nay, người ta đang trùng tu trại tập trung Morong Bataan thành điểm du lịch sinh thái gồm có cả: chùa, nhà thờ, tượng đài, đền Hùng Vương...
Bên cạnh các địa điểm thờ phượng tôn nghiêm c̣n có cả một nhà bảo tàng lưu giữ các vật kỷ niệm, h́nh ảnh, và đặc biệt là c̣n lưu giữ nguyên trạng một chiếc thuyền đánh cá được những người Việt tị nạn sử dụng làm phương tiện đi t́m sự tự do.
Chiếc thuyền xuất phát từ Phú Khánh (nay là Nha Trang – Khánh Ḥa, quê ḿnh đó) mang theo 141 người, trong đó có 11 trẻ em.
Sau nhiều ngày lênh đênh trên biển, chiếc tàu này được ngư dân Philippines kéo về Palawan, và hiện đang được bảo quản cẩn thận tại Morong Bataan
Điều thú vị đối với tôi trong thời gian ở đây là được thấy cách người Phi giữ ǵn các dấu tích của người Việt tị nạn. Với nhiều người Phi, danh từ “thuyền nhân” – “boat people”, như gắn liền với một phần lịch sử của đất nước họ.
Cứ nh́n cách người Phi lưu giữ kỷ niệm cho người Việt mà tôi suy nghĩ hoài.
Tại sao một phần lịch sử bi thương của một dân tộc lại được một quốc gia khác trân trọng qua nhiều thời kỳ trong khi bản thân nó bị xóa bỏ trên chính quê hương ḿnh?
Nhiều người Việt tị nạn đi định cư tại nước thứ 3 nay đă quay lại thăm Philippines – nơi họ xem như là quê hương thứ hai của ḿnh. Tại sao họ không chọn Việt Nam làm nơi quay lại đầu tiên khi đă ổn định cuộc sống nơi xứ lạ, mà họ lại chọn Phi, cho dù phải trải qua rất nhiều thủ tục nhiêu khê để được nhập cảnh trở lại Philippines?
Lịch sử là những ǵ đă diễn ra và không thể xóa bỏ.
V́ vậy, cho dù ở Việt Nam, số phận của những người tị nạn chính trị sau biến cố năm 1975 dường như bị xóa bỏ trong các bài học lịch sử hiện hành, th́ tại Philippines, nơi cưu mang những người Việt vượt biển bỏ quê ra đi lại đang giữ ǵn và trân trọng nó.
Hai tiếng quê hương, có lẽ v́ thế mà cũng nhạt nḥa và mất dần ư nghĩa với những người phải đối mặt trong giai đoạn lịch sử đầy đau thương của nước Việt.
Nh́n những ǵ được lưu giữ tại Morong Bataan, cá nhân tôi nghĩ rằng, các sử gia Việt Nam và những người có trách nhiệm, dù ít hay nhiều cũng phải dành riêng một vài trang trong lịch sử cận đại cho những “thuyền nhân” xưa – những người góp phần tạo nên cộng đồng hơn 4 triệu người Việt tại hải ngoại (hay c̣n gọi là Việt Kiều).
Có như vậy giấc mơ ḥa hợp – ḥa giải mới có thể nhanh chóng trở thành sự thật.

Tôi cũng [i]hơi khá[/i] thường xuyên đọc các bloggers từ Việt Nam. Đây là bài đầu tiên cụm từ HHHG được nhắc đến.
Nội dung của toàn bài viết tạo cho tôi cảm giác là cô sử dụng cái [b]xác[/b] của cụm từ HHHG theo nghĩa của bọn "truyền thông" ngụy-cộng; nhưng cái [b]hồn[/b] hoàn toàn khác.
Cái hồn toàn toàn khác v́ bài viết của cô rất nhân bản và rất chính trực: theo tiêu đề cô đă đưa ra. [i]Tôi có cảm giác[/i] là cô tin giữa những người không-chấp-nhân-cộng-sản ở hải ngoại và những người không-chấp-nhân-cộng-sản ở trong nước vẫn c̣n những khúc mắc phải giải quyết?
Tôi xin được thưa với các bạn rằng: giữa những người Việt không-chấp-nhận-cộng-sản chẳng có cái khúc mắt ǵ cả! Họ không có ǵ để phải HHHG!
HHHG chỉ là cụm từ đầu tôm kiểu như "kinh tế thị trường trong định hướng XHCN" v.v... mà thôi. Bọn bưng-bô-ăn-mày-hải-ngoại chỉ v́ một chút xú danh mà táp vào thôi.
Đất nước Việt Nam là của các bạn. Các bạn là những người chủ tương lai của Đất Nước. Thế hệ 1.5 của chúng tôi -- rất ít vương vấn với Việt Nam. Chúng tôi sống như những người bản xứ ở bên này (-- nhưng vẫn húp nước mắm nhen! Nhưng khả năng biết ngon biết dỡ, cũng thượng thừa như khả năng biết phó mát nào ngon phó mát nào dỡ!) Lỡ sanh làm người Việt Nam, chúng tôi mong muốn cho Việt Nam khá hơn!
Đơn giản là vậy thôi!
Nếu có dịp sang Úc, cô cũng sẽ được người Việt bên này tiếp đón nồng hậu như người Phi Luật Tân đă đón tiếp cô.
Thế hệ của chúng tôi rất kính phục những người Việt Nam trẻ tuổi như cô.[/list]
