Một thí dụ điễn h́nh về người Canada / Gia nă Đại (gốc Việt) & Việt Kiều ở Canada
Hello ông BB,
Ở dưới là trích dẫn ư kiến của tôi ( dưới nick Canadian) và vài ư kiến của người khác về "Việt kiều" & liên quan, nhân đọc bài viết liên quan đến "Hội Việt Kiều Yêu Nước"(= Hội Vịt Cừu Việt Bán Nước với tui) ở Canada.
Dù trong trường hợp này, tôi viết ư kiến, lấy thí dụ người Việt ở Canada, nhưng về tổng quát, dù có ở đâu th́ chữ & nghĩa của "việt kiều" cũng giống giống như vậy thôi.

Nếu là người Việt tị nạn th́ bạn xem trong cái giấy "vàng" (landed immigrant document/ identification) của bạn => Bạn là "AI" th́ đă có "nói / xác định" rơ ràng trong tờ giấy đó rồi. [b]Tờ giấy này có cả chữ kư của bạn & của nhân viên đại diện Sở di trú Canada. (= binding legal document).[/b]
=> Nếu bạn đến từ những trại tị nạn => th́ 99% "citizenship" của bạn phải là "stateless / vô tổ quốc".
=> Hiện giờ bạn có quốc tịch Canada th́ bạn là dân Canada / Canadian / Canadien. Chấm hết . Chứ không có "kiều / cầu" cái con khỉ khô ǵ hết! Như cái tụi vẹm cố t́nh ấm a, ấm ớ ... nhận bậy nhận bừa để vơ vét vào và vắt sửa. [color=navy][i](Tụi vc coi Việt kiều như ḅ sữa = thú vật! Rất nhiều người loại này cứ "vênh váo " khoe họ là "việt kiều" nữa và không nhận ra đó là sự sỉ vả của vc và sự nhục nhă / không biết tự trọng của bản thân.)[/i][/color]

=> Nói rơ thêm chút chữ [b]kiều[/b] - theo đúng chữ & nghĩa - là dân "Ở ĐẬU/ Ở NHỜ". Nghĩa là chữ "kiều" chỉ để dành cho người bản xứ gọi người nhập cư / di dân/ tị nạn/ chưa có quốc tịch. Thí dụ dân Canada có thể gọi người Việt đang trú ngụ ở Canada & chưa có quốc tịch là "Việt kiều" . [b]C̣n Việt cộng là dân Việt (không phải là dân bản xứ Canada = người ngoại quốc của Canada) mà họ gọi người Việt ở Canada là Việt kiều là sai bét từ căn bản.[/b]
=> Nếu 1 người nhập cư Canada với diện "vô tổ quốc" và hiện nay th́ đă có quốc tịch Canada => th́ "đi đâu" bạn cũng vẫn là dân Canada. Kể cả khi về VN và chấm hết!
=> Nếu Ai muốn giữ gốc Việt th́ có thể nói người Canada gốc Việt.
=> C̣n nếu AI muốn mang mác "việt kiều" để ḷe thiên hạ, để kiếm "cỏ non, cỏ tươi " chi chi đó để gặm th́ là quyền tự do cá nhân của 1 người [i](dù sai với chữ nghĩa & có thể sai với "luật pháp" luôn)[/i] .
=> C̣n "nhà nước Việt Nam" th́ dĩ nhiên phải tuân thủ "quốc tế công pháp" (= mutual respect với luật lệ của nước có bang giao). V́ vậy, nếu VC gọi người Việt tị nạn cs (= vô tổ quốc) & hiện nay là dân Canada là "VIỆT KIỀU" th́ là [b]SAI BÉT về cả hai mặt : chữ nghĩa lẫn pháp lư.[/b]

Vào link xem thêm các ư kiến khác, nếu có thích thú & rảnh rỗi. Có thể nói, 1 cách tổng quát, là đa số "ư kiến phản hồi" khác đều đồng ư với "phân tích" về chữ "việt kiều" của tôi ở trên , cũng như cách sử / áp dụng của đúng nghĩa, đúng nơi, đúng chỗ của chữ "việt kiều".
