Chris Hayes MP & House of Representatives - Vietnam Human Rights Notice of Motion
[FONT=Arial]Dear Mr Chris Haye M.P,
I am writing to express my personal and the Vietnamnese Community's sincere thanks and enormous gratitude for what you have been doing for human rights in Viet-Nam and for what you have done for our current Petition campaign and for Mr. Quoc Viet Truong, the lone protestor from VN, in the last few weeks. My Community and I were so moved to read what you have said in the House of Representatives on last Monday (21-5-2012). I am abosultely sure that it will mean a lot for the human rights campaigners in VN when the news reaches them. You have shown what Australia, the land of our free Vietnamese Community, is all about: that our nation and people do care about FREEDOM and about DEMOCRACY for opressed people anywhere in the world. Thank you for leading this effort in the Parliament and for being a champion for Human Rights in VN. We are very much looking forward to hearing and viewing the debate that you have initiated in the federal parliament on Monday.
Yours sincerely,
Phong Nguyen
Federal President
Vietnamese Community in Australia.
(With your permission Mr Haye, please permit me to write herewith my message to my community members in Australia and members of the Vietnamese community throughout the world, as well as my people in VN. Please ask your Vietnamese staff to translate it for you. Thank you Mr Hayes.
